MOBILE APPS

A mobile app designed for the people who use it.

For your customers or your field teams, we design and build custom iPhone and Android apps, from the first screen to release on the App Store and Google Play.

What we build

  • Customer apps

Booking, appointments, subscriptions, loyalty, order tracking: your service in your customers’ pocket.

  • Field apps

Jobs, collections, deliveries, readings: your teams capture information where it happens, even offline.

  • Companions to your platform

The mobile side of an existing web service, sharing the same accounts and data.

  • Store publishing

Listing, screenshots, submission and back-and-forth with Apple and Google until approval.

It may be the right time if…

  • Customers call or write to you for things they could do themselves.
  • Field teams write on paper what someone retypes later at the office.
  • Your website no longer covers how you serve customers day to day.
  • You have an app idea and want to know it holds up before investing.

Our approach

  1. The journey before the code

We start from what users need to get done, screen by screen, before choosing any technology.

  2. A prototype to try

Once the need is framed, an interactive prototype in 10 working days: you try it before development starts.

  3. iPhone and Android

One codebase where possible, native choices where the use demands it. The code is yours.

FAQ

Questions about this expertise.

The questions we hear most before a project of this kind.

Do I need both iPhone and Android?

Usually yes: your users have both. We favour a shared codebase so you don’t pay twice for the same work, and go native only when the use calls for it.

How much does a mobile app cost?

Mostly it depends on what it has to do: user accounts, payments, real-time information or offline use weigh more than the number of screens. The budget is set at the framing stage, before any development.

Can Apple or Google reject my app?

Yes, even when it works perfectly, often over a compliance rule. We prepare the release with those rules in mind and handle any change requests with you.

Can it work offline?

Yes, if the use calls for it. It’s common for field teams: the app stores information on the spot and syncs as soon as the network is back.
